NKT Therapy

Hi, I'm Renee.

For nearly 20 years, I've had the privilege of working hands-on with people, helping them feel better, move better, slow down, and reconnect with their bodies.

I began my career as a massage therapist in 2007, and what started as a love for helping people feel better grew into a genuine curiosity about the human body. I wanted to understand why people hurt, why certain problems kept coming back, and why something that worked beautifully for one person didn't necessarily work for another.

That curiosity eventually led me beyond massage and into neuromuscular work, acupuncture, Chinese medicine, cupping, and other therapeutic approaches.

Today, having so many different tools allows me to practice in a way that feels very natural to me:

I meet you where you are, rather than trying to fit you into a particular treatment.

You don't need to know whether you need massage, acupuncture, cupping, therapeutic work, or a combination of approaches before you come see me. That's part of what you're coming to me for.

Tell me what's going on. I'll listen, ask questions, assess what I'm seeing, and we'll decide together where it makes sense to start.

Behind everything I do are my four children.

Being their mom has shaped so much of who I am—not only personally, but also in the way I think about health, time, stress, and taking care of ourselves.

I know what it's like to have a full life.

There are workdays, practices, appointments, meals to make, people who need you, a house that never quite stays clean, and about a hundred other things competing for your attention. It's incredibly easy to put yourself at the bottom of that list.

My children are a huge part of why I continue to learn, grow, and build this practice. They've taught me that taking care of ourselves isn't about creating a perfectly balanced life. It's about finding ways to feel well enough to actually be present for the life we've worked so hard to create.

And when I'm not working or running around with my kids, there's a good chance you'll find me with Buxley, my dog, somewhere nearby.
